Why Restrooms Demand a Higher Standard

Restrooms in commercial facilities are the highest-risk areas for pathogen transmission. High-touch surfaces — flush handles, door pulls, faucet handles — can harbor bacteria and viruses for hours without regular disinfection. A restroom that looks clean is not necessarily sanitized.

Sentrix uses EPA-registered, hospital-grade disinfectants with documented dwell times to ensure surfaces are not just wiped, but actually disinfected. This distinction matters — especially in medical-adjacent buildings, fitness centers, and high-traffic commercial properties.

Odor Control

Persistent restroom odors are not a cleaning problem — they are a sanitization problem. Odor-causing bacteria live in grout, under toilet rims, in floor drains, and on porous surfaces that are only surface-wiped. Sentrix uses enzymatic odor treatments that neutralize odor-causing compounds at the source, not mask them with fragrance.

Restocking and Supply Management

Running out of soap or paper towels mid-day creates a hygiene gap and a poor impression for employees and visitors. Sentrix restocking includes: hand soap, paper towels, toilet tissue, seat covers (where applicable), and air freshener refills. We can manage supply inventory or work from your existing supply stock.

Frequently Asked Questions

How often should commercial restrooms be cleaned?
High-traffic facilities (50+ daily users) typically need daily cleaning. Some facilities need twice-daily service. We assess your traffic and recommend accordingly.
What is the difference between cleaning and sanitizing?
Cleaning removes visible dirt and debris. Sanitizing uses chemical agents to reduce microbial load on surfaces. Disinfection goes further — using EPA-registered products to kill a defined percentage of pathogens with documented dwell time. Sentrix does all three.
Can you provide MSDS documentation for your cleaning products?
Yes. All Sentrix products come with full MSDS/SDS documentation available on request.
Do you provide supply restocking or just cleaning?
Both. We can either restock using supplies you provide, or manage supply procurement and restocking as a full-service program.
How do you address persistent odor problems?
Persistent odor requires enzymatic treatment, not surface cleaning alone. We apply enzymatic deodorizers to drains, grout, and sub-surface areas where odor-causing bacteria live.
